DoubleData Wall is a commissioned Art Installation for the DoubleData Exhibit at Art Center College of Design. The interactive light sculpture has 2,410 RGB LED Lights controlled by custom Processing Code and an LED Controller. The piece provokes users to interact in several programs. The first one visualizes WIFI traffic as particles flowing through the air.
The second program has particles that are searching for the DoubleData Logo, as they hit a letterform, they begin to form it. Program 3 is a particle playground for the audience, it gives them several minutes to play, pose, take pictures, and have a fun one on one connection with the exhibition about data. And finally, the last program allows the audience to add to the piece by tweeting a message to #datavizartcenter
